The Trakker comes with an IVECO Cursor 13 6 cylinder, turbo charged engine. Packing 450 hp and 1620 lb/ ft, and a 33 tonnes Gross Vehicle Mass, no job is too much. To meet the current Euro 5/ADR 80-03 emission standards, the Cursor 13 engine is fitted with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology which reduces the level of toxic gases emitted from the engine and also provides a significant decrease in fuel consumption.
While driving in automated mode the Eurotronic transmission automatically selects the most ideal gearshift according to load, road speed, road incline, etc. To change the gear, pull down on the lever and the manual override mode engages. The ZF transmission was developed to deliver optimum performance, advanced drivability and superior fuel economy. The result is an intelligent and adaptive gearbox, which helps to reduce stress levels and fatigue for drivers. The ZF Eurotronic transmission has the choice of being in automated mode with the ability to shift into a manual mode when required.
The Trakker cab is known for its superior ergonomics and high levels of comfort, lessening the impact on your body after being in tough terrain. It offers superior cab soundproofing, a pneumatic suspended driver's seat, fully adjustable steering column and multiple easily accessible high capacity storage compartments, all available in a sleeper can or day cab build.
The IVECO Trakker is a genuine off road vehicle, with permanent all wheel drive to all axles. The Trakker is fitted with parabolic leaf springs, anti roll bars and shock absorbers on the front suspension, while the rear suspension is an IVECO Cantilever setup. The Cantilever suspension encompasses a reinforced anti-roll bar and shock absorbers, ensuring a smooth ride over the roughest terrain. The front suspension has a load capacity of 9 tonnes and the rear suspension has a capacity of 26 tonnes, with the strength to pull almost anything. The Trakker has a strong high tensile steel chassis, which is completely flat and free from obstructions, making it easy to work with for any body builder.
